VoiceBloom offers a FERPA Addendum to K–12 districts, charter schools, independent schools, and educational organizations that subscribe to VoiceBloom on the School / District plan, or that otherwise have VoiceBloom process records covered by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (20 U.S.C. § 1232g, 34 CFR Part 99).
The Addendum designates VoiceBloom as a "School Official" under 34 CFR § 99.31(a)(1)(i)(B), confirms District ownership of all Education Records and PII, prohibits secondary use (no advertising, no model training, no sale), and binds VoiceBloom to FERPA's use-and-redisclosure restrictions. State-specific addenda (NY Education Law § 2-d, California SOPIPA / AB 1584, Illinois SOPPA, Connecticut PA 16-189) are available on request at no extra charge.

Already signed an addendum? Replacements, state-specific addenda, and amendments are available on request from the same email. The executed Addendum is incorporated into the District's subscription agreement and supplements our DPA, Privacy Policy, and Security page.
